How are you able to offer these incentives?
Hotels, travel companies, restaurants, and other establishments contract with our company in order to provide these incentives. They offer these incentives to get people to use their services and see what they have to offer. This builds brand loyalty.
For example, hotels rarely experience full occupancy except during conventions, major holidays and weekends, so they contract with certain travel promotion companies, like us, to give the rooms away free with the 3 day, 2 night vacation certificate to get people to come and see what they have to offer. When hotels have empty rooms, they do not make any money, and it's a waste of a good room. Although they have lost the price of the room regardless, they can still let you stay for free in the hopes that you'll stay longer, eat in their restaurants, spend money at their in-house shops and casinos, and take advantage of their amenities (spa, room service, etc.). And when you leave, after having had a great time, they hope that you'll come back to stay with them in the future and maybe even tell a few friends. This builds brand loyalty.
What types of hotels are offered?
The 3 Day, 2 Night Vacation Certificates offer accommodations with quality hotels that range from 2-3 stars and are in the same class of hotels like Hyatt, Westin, Radisson, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Quality Inn, Marriott, Wyndham and Sheraton. The hotels are booked in and around the main tourist areas of the destination. The offer is based on availability, so the hotel the person receives depends upon which hotel is available for the travel dates chosen.
The 8 Day, 7 Night Resort Getaway Certificate offers accommodations at 3-4 star resorts. The offer is based on availability, so the resort the person receives depends upon which resort is available for the travel dates chosen.
What size are the certificates when printed?
The certificates are the size of a standard 8 1/2 by 11 paper when printed.
Do the certificates have an expiration date?
The certificates will not have an expiration date on them unless you specify one. Having an expiration date gives the certificate holder some urgency to redeem it, which means more redemptions for you. You will have the option of putting an expiration date of 2 weeks, 1 month or 3 months from the date they are printed. Please be advised that if you are selling the certificates, some states have regulations relating to the expiration of certificates, in that they do not allow them to expire if sold. If you are selling the certificates and wish to have an expiration date on them, we advise you to check with your state to see if they have regulations on certificates being sold with expiration dates on them.
Can I personalize the certificates to have my business name and/or website address on it?
Yes you can! When you login to your account, you will be able to enter in what you would like the certificates to show in the Compliments of area of both certificates. You can change this information as many times as you want, so if you have more than one company, you can print separate certificates with each business name on them.
How does the yearly licensing fee work? What happens if I don't renew it?
The licensing fee is a yearly fee that is required to be renewed each year for the continued usage of the certificate. The yearly fee is not renewed automatically. Your account area will show you the date that the licensing fee expires. You will also receive an email one-month before it expires to notify you of renewal. If the fee is not renewed, then you will not have access to the certificate nor will you receive any commissions for certificates redeemed after that time.
Is there an additional fee to print out the certificates?
NO, there is no additional fee. You only pay a small licensing fee allowing you to print an unlimited number of certificates at any time.
How can I distribute the certificates to my customers?
The certificate is in a PDF document. You can print the certificate to give to your customers, email the PDF certificate to your customers, or upload it to your website for your customers to download and print.
Does my customer have to attend a timeshare sales presentation to receive the vacation offers?
A timeshare presentation is not required with the vacation certificates. With some of the vacations it may be offered as an opportunity to upgrade the vacation.
How many certificates can my customers redeem?
Your customers can redeem as many of the certificates as they want.
How will you know that the certificates were distributed by me?
When you purchase a certificate, you will be assigned an ID Number. Each certificate you print or give away online will have your ID Number on it. Your ID Number is located at the bottom right corner of the certificate. When a certificate is redeemed, your ID Number tells our accounting department who was responsible for distributing the certificate. When a certificate is redeemed that has your ID Number on it, we will credit your account with a commission. The commission amounts vary depending on how many certificates are redeemed each month. When you login to your account, you will be able to see how many certificates were redeemed each month and how much you earned in commissions.
Can I participate in the program if I live outside of the US?
Yes, you can. It doesn't matter where you live.
